Please read if you are thinking of adopting a dog or pup from us.
We have been overwhelmed by the numbers of inquiries and applications we receive once a pup becomes available for adoption. Within minutes our inbox is filling up with applications for the ONE puppy! Our procedure has always been to process applications on a first come/first served basis. It is the only way to guarantee fairness. Our application process remains the same as always with admin approval, reference checks, home visits etc. and we are not changing the process because of the increase in demand for puppies! Just because someone is the first applicant, does not necessarily mean they will be approved. We accept several applications for each dog/pup and then we STOP ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS.
We understand the frustration involved for people trying to adopt a new family member and not having their applications accepted because we have received so many already. It is frustrating to our volunteers as well to have to pass on bad news to people who are hoping to adopt.
Please understand that our volunteers are all doing their best to answer inquiries and process applications in a timely and thorough manner. Thank you!

MASR would like everyone to know that we take pandemic concerns very seriously. We follow all current public health orders and expect the same from any interested applicants. While we wish to stick with our long established policies regarding adoption applications, we have adapted some of our procedures to insure that safety for all is always our priority.
Thank you all for your continued support and understanding during these tough times. Stay well everyone!

PLEASE do some research about dogs in general and German Shepherds in particular before deciding you want one. All puppies are cute and lovable but if you don't understand the history & purpose of the breed, you won't be prepared for the reality of a German Shepherd or Shepherd cross pup. They are known worldwide for their unmatched loyalty, their endless courage and stamina, and their devotion to their family. BUT they are a remarkably intelligent dog that require a calm consistent leader to teach them manners and we have to EARN that loyalty we all desire. German Shepherds are a member of the Herding Group. Their original purpose was to provide protection to herds of sheep. They are naturally protective and also driven to "herd". As puppies, they are rough, very high drive, nipping little alligators. Chasing anything is FUN and many Shepherds are "prey" driven which means, cats and rabbits and birds are all "fair game" to your puppy. You MUST be prepared to accept the challenge that a Shepherd or Shepherd cross pup will provide you with or please don't apply for one. A dog should be for LIFE, and all family members should be onboard with expectations of acceptable behavior and responsibility. We can offer guidance and direction but be prepared to engage the support of a professional trainer if you are new to owning a Shepherd or Shepherd cross pup or adult. The amount of effort a person puts into any dog or pup will determine the outcome of owning one of these amazing animals.
Important information about our spay/neuter policy.
Today I am sharing an important post for anyone who is considering adopting a dog or puppy from us. We are a rescue which means that 1) every single one of us are volunteers and that 2) every single one of us care deeply about each and every animal that crosses our path. We aren't the biggest or best known rescue, we aren't even the longest in operation here in Manitoba, although we are close. But we have been donating our time, our efforts, our knowledge for almost 16 years now. It's a LOT of work but it is worth it for the hundreds and hundreds of dogs we have helped. We believe in the value of EVERY SINGLE dog, this is not a numbers game or a competition. From the moment we say "yes, we can help", until the moment a dog goes to his/her forever home, we devote everything we have to that individual dog or puppy. We feed only good quality food and we provide top-notch veterinary care, regardless of our current bank account. We provide full vaccinations and heartworm protection and everything else that pops up. Our foster homes and forever homes are checked thoroughly. And we provide extensive detailed information to our fosters and our adopters. Basically we do everything we know in order to offer the very best care we can to each and every dog we meet, FOREVER.
Having said all that, there is one area that we know we can improve on and that is delaying all spays and neuters until after a dog or puppy has reached maturity. The research supporting this has been available for decades, this is nothing new. The hormones responsible for many things important to the health and development of dogs are lost once the animal has been altered. These hormones play such an important part in the overall wellbeing of each and every dog. (I don't need to go into all the details - if you are interested, there is a huge amount of information online.) Being a rescue though means that we are expected to alter everything, and we certainly do and always have. But we alter at a date chosen to give the dog the best possible opportunity to develop properly. Our contract currently states that we will schedule altering after 7 months for females and 10 months for males, but we are changing this, effective immediately. We are scheduling all dogs now for dates after they have reached their one year birthday.
What does this mean for you, our future adopters? Well, it means that if you adopt a female pup from us, chances are that she may have a heat cycle before she is spayed. If you aren't willing to "deal with" a heat cycle, don't adopt a female. It's a normal part of maturing for all females, and it is a question of making certain sacrifices for approximately 3 weeks THAT WILL BENEFIT YOUR DOG FOR THE REMAINDER OF HER LIFE. Simple really. Same with males. Male dogs may typically mark things... again, perfectly normal dog behavior. If you can't bear to have a dog mark things, don't adopt a male (some females mark as well but most often it is males). If you aren't willing to teach your male dog what is appropriate marking (trees) versus what is not appropriate (furniture), don't adopt a male. We have been pushing this information since the day we started and have delayed spays and neuters for as long as possible with our adopters. Nothing really has changed except that we are now making it official that the one year mark is our new minimum age. This will hopefully be a deterrent to adopters who wish for Fido to never fully mature. Our Fidos certainly will. We are not worried about accidental litters. To date we have not had even one "whoops" litter in any of our dogs. Because there really is no need or excuse for an unwanted pregnancy if you adopt to responsible people. And we will all continue to work hard to insure that our dogs only go to responsible, loving, committed homes.
We are hoping that people committed to the individual health and wellbeing of each and every dog, whether purebred champion or rescued stray recognize this as a step in the right direction for the overall health and longevity of every single pup. Thank you to everyone who recognizes this post for what it is - a rescue comprised of people who genuinely care, not just for today but for all days.

From the beginning, 16 years ago, our commitment to each and every dog has remained the same. To get them into our care where they are safe. To provide them with the best we can offer in nutrition, the best we can offer in veterinary care, providing them each with guidance, boundaries and structure. This is a basic necessity for all dogs but especially important for the previously unwanted, the fearful, the abused and/or neglected. And love. The love poured into our dogs by our amazing foster families has helped many a dog forget their less than ideal past.
Beautiful Rex didn't have a great start. And his life went from bad to worse when his owner passed away. Rex was an outdoor dog, living his entire life on one small plot of land. Never went anywhere and never exposed to so many things we all take for granted. Not abused physically but never socialized, never played with, never kept company on cold winter nights. He was just "there". After his owner died, extended family tried to help and brought Rex to Winnipeg. That didn't work out well - Rex went from a life of basic isolation to a busy home with multiple people, multiple other dogs/pets, etc. We were contacted because it was not working well at all and poor Rex had nowhere or nobody left to go to. We placed Rex into a quiet foster home with a young couple and one happy, balanced female dog. We started medical care immediately. Rex's transition was slow and filled with many ups and downs. Medically he was suffering from multiple ailments. Stress had him self mutilating and fear had him biting. But we didn't give up. Days turned into weeks, weeks turned into months, and now, almost a year later, here is our beautiful boy. No longer stressed and harming himself, no longer snapping out as a method of feeling safe. Rex has learned the joy and safety of being part of a family. He understands play now. He knows the comfort of a soft sofa to lay old tired bones on.
Rex is a senior dog and because he still has medical issues and dietary restrictions, and mainly because he deserves to live the rest of his life where he knows he is loved, we decided that Rex will remain one of MASR's permanent foster dogs. Rex remained for the rest of his days, however long that may be, with his foster family who he has grown to love and cherish. (RIP Rex - August 2024)
Rescue is so much more than a verb. It is a promise and we intend to always keep our promises to these deserving creatures.

As we begin our 20th year of rescuing dogs, we are sadly forced to close down intake until further notice. Unfortunately our vet has temporarily suspended our account until we can make a considerable dent on our outstanding balance of $15,372.77.
We are reaching out to you, our supporters, for your help at this time.
We don't take this step lightly - we know what this means for the many dogs & puppies on our waiting list. We haven't had to take this step often over the past 19+ years but today we are forced to plead for your help.
Please consider helping us to continue our efforts! Every donation, large or small, will make a difference!
There are several ways that you can help:
1) Make a donation directly to our veterinarians at:

Welcome to sweet Shirley! This beautiful girl, sister to Jessie, was our last intake for 2024. Both girls came from a northern community and were left behind when their owner moved. Thankfully we were able to get them both flown into our care and they are doing great in their foster homes.
Shirley is happy and healthy other than needing to gain some weight. She is not yet available for adoption but will be soon. Welcome to your new life Shirley!

From our homes to your homes, near and far, have a safe and happy New Years everyone! May 2025 bring peace and joy to all.
Please help - foster needed !
This beautiful girl is a young female German Shepherd that we have been asked to help. Holly was abandoned with her one pup in a rural community, where she was found with an embedded string tied around her neck. The string has been removed and medical treatment was given. The pup has found placement but Holly is still waiting. She is currently safe in a TEMPORARY home but we are hoping to bring her into our care.
Holly is described as very sweet and gentle. Can anyone offer Holly a holiday miracle and foster this beautiful girl for us?
Please apply (link below) if you can help!

Introducing Jessie, a one year old female German Shepherd.
Jessie recently flew into our care from a northern community after her owners moved and left behind their two dogs to fend for themselves. Thankfully a concerned community member reached out for help and kept the two dogs safe until help could be found.
Only having one committed foster home available meant we could only help one of the two girls. (We have since found another foster home and were able to have Shirley fly in today.)
Beautiful Jessie is settling in very nicely and enjoying the comforts provided to her by her foster family. She is a lovely girl and will eventually make someone a wonderful best friend.
Jessie is not yet available for adoption and we are not accepting applications for her at this time. But watch for her pretty face at upcoming adoption events in the new year!
(Please consider opening your heart and home to a rescue dog in need and apply to become a foster home! It truly is the difference between life or death for so many deserving animals.)

CONGRATULATIONS PEARL!
Last week we celebrated our beautiful Pearl's successful completion of Advanced Obedience with Tess's Dog Training. Way to go Ms Pearl!
Special thank you to Pearl's devoted foster mom Debbie, who never gave up on helping Pearl achieve this, and so many other milestones!
There are many kinds of abuse we see in rescue, and not all show physical scars. Unfortunately, those of us involved in rescue see the "invisible" traumas left behind by irresponsible owners and/or breeders. Our very sweet Pearl is one of the survivors of such treatment, and so we celebrate her life and her amazing achievements!
BIG thank you being sent to Ashley of Tess's Dog Training for your continued support & encouragement! Also to Dan of DBCanineWorks for providing original advice & support! You guys are THE BEST and we are so grateful to have you in our corner! ❤

Our very loved Ms Pumpkin has crossed over the Bridge recently. Pumpkin came into care as an unowned, unwanted stray from a rural community with her two surviving puppies. Once happy & healthy again, Pumpkin found her forever family and served as her human Dad's service dog for many years until retirement.
We send our heartfelt condolences to Pumpkin's family & loved ones.

Sadly, beautiful alumni Akela recently crossed the Rainbow Bridge after being diagnosed with an aggressive terminal disease. Akela's passing leaves behind some very broken hearts but also so many wonderful memories. Akela's life may have been shorter than hoped for, but her 9-1/2 years of life were lived to the fullest.
Rest well sweet girl... you were so loved. Our deepest condolences to Aleka's grieving family & friends.

Sending out a huge thank you to Tiny Treasures Mobile Farm and Canvasback Pet Supplies for hosting Manitoba All Shepherd Rescue's & Winnipeg Boxer Rescue's adoption day event yesterday!
The day started out WET and windy but thankfully, the rain let up and we had a great day!
We had some issues trying to keep our auction prizes & baking dry plus keep things from blowing away but our enterprising volunteers made everything work!
We had some difficulties videoing our draw but the videos will (hopefully) be posted later. All winners have been notified and prizes picked up. Congratulations to all winners!
What a delight the Tiny Treasures Mobile Farm animals are! Make sure to check them out at any one of their multiple events.
The biggest thank you (as always) is to our simply wonderful volunteers & fosters! Whether wrapped in sheets, blankets & towels, a couple changes of clothes, "emergency" runs for more warm outerwear and other creative ways to deal with the weather, the show went on! We are so grateful for the dedication of some truly wonderful people!
Thank you all again!

Sending out a huge thank you to Ashley of Tess's Dog Training for donating a session of classes to MASR's beautiful Pearl! Also a big thank you to Dan of DBCanineWorks for some private instruction which helped us to gain better understanding of this amazing girl!
Pearl is a wonderful 1 year old female Shepherd/Malinois cross that came into our care suffering with high anxiety and a complete lack of socialization. Before any training could begin, Pearl needed some help in learning how to control her anxiety & excitement. Pearl, although very friendly, was mouthy and loud and basically a "bull in a china shop".
With guidance, direction, and a lot of patience from her foster mom, Pearl has learned so many new and much more acceptable behaviors. She really enjoyed the classes and I believe that she is as proud of herself as we all are of her! Great job Pearl & Debbie!
Thank you again to all businesses that contribute their time & talents to rescue organizations.

This is a lovely 3 minute video put together by Miho's grieving forever foster family. Miho crossed the Rainbow Bridge earlier this month with her entire family at her side.
So easy to see in the video the absolute love Miho's foster family had for our beloved Miho.... so many photos and memories of a dog that is now gone but will never be forgotten.
Thank you for sharing this video with us Cristina and family and thank you so much for loving our girl like all dogs should be loved!

Eighteen years! Yes, you read that correctly... 18 years. Manitoba All Shepherd Rescue originally opened as Manitoba German Shepherd Rescue in January of 2006.
This statement is easily relatable not only to all of us at MASR, but to all of our many fellow rescuers.
Much love and appreciation to all who support rescue efforts. Thank you.

Pearl needs a new foster
Beautiful Pearl!
Pearl is a 15 month old female German Shepherd / Malinois cross.
She comes from a neglectful background where she never received any socializing and never learned any doggie manners. Originally picked up as a stray and never claimed, we were contacted by the northern humane society where she was not doing well in a kennel environment. Flown to Winnipeg at the beginning of December, poor Pearl was extremely friendly & sweet but also terribly anxious and VERY poorly behaved. No leash manners, very mouthy (excitement), and zero idea of how to contain her excitement and anxiety. After a few weeks of settling into her foster home, Pearl had made huge changes in some areas but still exhibited very high anxiety and alarming reactivity to other dogs and basically anything "new". Once assessed by a professional dog trainer, we realized that her anxiety needed immediate medical help and we started her on a low dose of sedatives. Pearl has done amazing in the last several weeks. She lives with a resident dog and cat and has managed to learn how to behave around them. She would still like to chase the cat but understands that it is not allowed. She would really like to play with the dog but he is not yet comfortable with her "energy". Pearl still needs to learn better doggie communication skills as her pushiness is alarming to other dogs. Pearl is still a work-in-progress as many rescued dogs are. She is extremely bright and understands sit, down, crate, backup, etc. She walks nicely and is seldom reactive on her walks. She is a good eater and has learned to take treats gently now, instead of grabbing/biting as she once did. Loves people - a very sweet girl that really enjoys giving & receiving affection. Pearl is not an easy dog - understanding her can be challenging. But she is very much worth the extra effort and one day, she will make an outstanding family companion for some lucky family.
Unfortunately Pearl's current foster family are unable to keep her much longer for personal reasons and we are looking for the perfect foster or, ideally, foster-to-adopt family for her.
Each time Pearl is moved, her anxiety kicks back up a notch so we would like to move her one more time only (if at all possible). Fully house and crate trained (Pearl enjoys her crate), highly food/treat motivated and VERY ball-driven. We are not yet prepared to have Pearl adopted. She has made so much progress and we want to insure that she is given the opportunity to reach her full potential. We are offering her a structured environment, teaching her boundaries and showing her strong leadership. Once we move her into her next foster home, we will begin the gradual process of weaning her off the medications. If you feel that you can offer the structure & leadership that Pearl needs, and would one day want to share your life with an amazing 4-legged companion, we would love to hear from you. Pearl deserves only the best and we want to give it to her! All expenses are covered when you foster with MASR. We work closely with knowledgeable, experienced trainers that will guide us to insure we are on the right path. Join our team of heroes and apply to help this wonderful girl. Submit our online foster application, located on our website at: www.manitobaallshepherdrescue.com

Foster Needed for beautiful Chrissy!
Beautiful Chrissy is a sweet "fun size" (medium sized) female Shepherd cross. Happy, outgoing and always up for anything, Chrissy is as happy having an adventure as she is chilling at your side.
Chrissy is friendly but aloof. She makes friends, both doggie and human, on her own terms.
Chrissy is fully house trained, crate trained, has good leash manners, and is great in the car. A well behaved, very pretty girl!
Chrissy is in immediate need of a new foster or forever home! Chrissy would do well being the only dog in the family or she could live nicely with a male dog after a suitable introduction.
If you would like to meet this wonderful girl, please complete either our FOSTER or our ADOPT application form. Both are located on our website at:

Congratulations Kimber! Our beautiful girl Kimber was returned to our care in May (after the death of her owner), weighing in at a whopping 110 pounds. Kimber was immediately put on a strict diet and exercise plan, and 7 months later, she is down to 75 pounds!
This is a tremendous achievement and has restored Kimber's good health & happiness.
We are so grateful to Kimber's foster family for putting a plan in place and sticking to it. Only 5 more pounds to lose and Kimber will hit her target weight. Great job everyone!

Sending a big thank you to Ashley from Tess's Dog Training and to Pooches Playhouse for hosting a terrific training seminar for our foster families! And thank you also to the volunteers & foster families in attendance!
Sadly, handsome alumni Bones has crossed over the Rainbow Bridge. Mr. Bones lived a good, full & fun life and will be deeply missed by his loving family.
We send our deepest condolences to his family and friends. Rest well sweet boy, you were so loved.

Sadly, we recently bid farewell to another of our “forever fosters”, the indomitable Miss Miho. Miho came into our care (the second time) when her owner was no longer able to provide for her. We happily welcomed back the dog that put smiles on everyone’s faces whenever you met her – she was just such an outgoing, joyous girl.
Miho fit right into her foster family and had no intention of ever leaving. As her health unfortunately deteriorated this past year, her family went above and beyond to provide Miho with their unwavering love, support and dedication.
Recently Miho let us know that she was tired and ready to leave this world. She said her goodbyes to her friends and then, surrounded by her entire forever foster family, Miho crossed The Rainbow Bridge.
Goodbye sweet Miho… you were so loved and your memory will live forever.
“Don’t cry because it is over. Smile because it happened.”

We have some sad news to share with our dog loving community. Earlier this month one of our forever fosters, lovingly known as "Mister Rexaroo", crossed the Rainbow Bridge.
Rex joined our rescue a few years ago from a less-than-ideal situation. It became apparent very soon that Rex would never be considered a good candidate for adoption. He was a senior dog with multiple health and behavioral issues so we decided to keep him under our wing and do our best to offer him a lifetime of love, adventure, fun & friendship in the limited time he had left. And we sure succeeded. Rex had an amazing life with an amazing foster family and in his last three years of life, Rex was able to experience all that had been previously denied him.
Unfortunately, the time came to say goodbye and with his “mom” at his side, our beloved Mister Rexaroo crossed that final bridge. He is now at peace and free of pain.
Run free Big Boy… you made a huge impact on all of us who loved you so dearly. Deepest condolences to his grieving family.
“How lucky we are to have had something that made saying goodbye so hard.”

Live long and prosper AND FOSTER!
* We currently have several dogs and pups in need of a foster home. *

Just a reminder that MASR functions entirely on VOLUNTEERS. There are NO paid positions, NO bonuses, NO "perks" to volunteering or fostering for us; every dollar raised goes towards expenses related to the dogs and puppies in our care!
Our small but extremely dedicated team are all devoted to making a difference for dogs & puppies in need and our reward is knowing and seeing the impact we have made on the lives of these wonderful creatures.
PLEASE remember though that these same amazing volunteers have lives apart from our rescue. Some have full-time jobs, some have continuing education commitments, ALL have families and related responsibilities, especially during this holiday season!
Please practice kindness and understand that each and every one of us are doing our very best to reply and respond to everyone in a timely manner. Thank you!

"My foster dog stinks to high heaven. I don’t know for sure what breed he is. His eyes are blank and hard. He won’t let me pet him and growls when I reach for him. He has ragged scars and crusty sores on his skin. His nails are long and his teeth which he showed me are stained.
I sigh.
I drove two hours for this. I carefully maneuver him so that I can stuff him in the crate. Then I heft the crate and put it in the car. I am going home with my new foster dog.
At home I leave him in the crate till all the other dogs are in the yard. I get him out of the crate and ask him if he wants ‘outside.’ As I lead him to the door he hikes his leg on the wall and shows me his stained teeth again.
When we come in he goes to the crate because that’s the only safe place he sees. I offer him food but he won’t eat it if I look at him, so I turn my back. When I come back the food is gone. I ask again about ‘outside.’ When we come back I pat him before I let him in the crate, he jerks away and runs into the crate to show me his teeth.
The next day I decide I can’t stand the stink any longer. I lead him into the bath with cheese in my hand. His fear of me is not quite overcome by his wish for the cheese. And well he should fear me, for I will give him a bath.
After an attempt or two to bail out he is defeated and stands there. I have bathed four legged bath squirters for more dog years than he has been alive. His only defense was a show of his stained teeth that did not hold up to a face full of water.
As I wash him it is almost as if I wash not only the stink and dirt away but also some of his hardness. His eyes look full of sadness now. And he looks completely pitiful as only a soap covered dog can. I tell him that he will feel better when he is cleaned. After the soap the towels are not too bad so he lets me rub him dry. I take him outside. He runs for joy. The joy of not being in the tub and the joy of being clean. I, the bath giver, am allowed to share the joy. He comes to me and lets me pet him.
His skin is healing. He likes for me to pet him. I think I know what color he will be when his hair grows in. I have found out he is terrified of other dogs. So I carefully introduce him to my mildest four legged brat. It doesn’t go well.
Two weeks later a new vet bill for an infection that was missed on the first visit. He plays with the other dogs.
Three weeks later he asks to be petted. He chewed up part of the rug.
Eight weeks later his coat shines, he has gained weight. He shows his clean teeth when his tongue lolls out after he plays chase in the yard with the gang. His eyes are soft and filled with life. He loves hugs and likes to show off his tricks, if you have the cheese.
Someone adopted him today... When they saw him the first time they said he was the most beautiful dog they had ever seen.
Six months later I got a call from his new family. He is wonderful, smart, well behaved and very loving. How could someone not want him? I told them I didn’t know. He is beautiful. They all are."
Fosters change the world, so please consider opening your home to a dog in need!

FULL OF BEANS DOG TRAINING
click HERE for a quick guide for dog guardians
Full of Beans Dog Training is lovingly named after Julia’s first dog – Java. As a rescue husky-shepherd mix, he was a rambunctious puppy who always had exuberant energy – as if he was “full of beans!”
Since starting the company, Julia has helped countless rescue dogs find peace and harmony in their households, de-caffeinating some of those beans they’re so hyped up on!
Julia’s training encompasses years of pet and sport dog experience. She skillfully informs her training approach from the perspective of both worlds, follows LIMA, and is an Associated Member with the IACP. Working towards her IACP-CDT, she is committed to bringing only the best, most ethical training techniques to her coaching.
We have some truly amazing dogs that have been waiting patiently for their wish to come true!

From Rags to Riches
Beautiful senior boy Rex, one of our past FOREVER FOSTERS. Came into our care as a badly "broken" boy with too many health and behavioral issues to list, including anxiety driven self-mutilation and fear driven aggression.
Placed into a loving foster home with a four-legged "sister" to show him the ropes and patient, dedicated foster "mom" & "dad", and look at him now doing a treat search! He had been a great "big brother" to another fostered puppy, he had travelled on a family vacation meeting extended family and learned the joys that can bring.
RIP Rex
REX lived and loved his life.
NEVER give up!

one of our past forever fosters - Rex!
Rex came into our care last March after his Saskatchewan owner passed away. Rex had been an outside dog for his entire 8 years of life and once his owner passed away, he was basically alone outside for two long stressful months, waiting for his "Dad" to return. Finally, extended family made the trip from Winnipeg and picked him up, hoping to integrate him into their family. Unfortunately the family's other four-legged residents and Rex couldn't get along and we were contacted to help. We knew that placing this boy would prove challenging. He suffered from multiple physical and emotional ailments. His entire "world" had been a farmyard and one person. He had no exposure to so many things we all take for granted. Travel, televisions, kettles, phones, other dogs, children, other people, period. We placed him in a very committed foster home where his anxiety induced behavior certainly caused some challenges. But this foster family never gave up on Rex and neither did we. Several vet visits, special veterinary diet, then homemade diet, multiple medications and supplements, and LOTS of love & patience. Exposure to new things, always in a calm and safe manner. A "bestie" female Keeshond who showed Rex the ropes. And toys! LOTS of toys! For a dog who had no idea of what a toy was, Rex sure discovered the joy a simple toy can provide. Look at him go. No more self-mutilation, no more fear induced biting... just a happy healthy dog enjoying his life!
Rex wasn't our first "forever foster" and may not be our last, there really is no way to know. What we do know though is that whatever it takes, our amazing team of heroes just keeps on giving these wonderful creatures their second chance. One special dog at a time.
