DOB: June 1, 2018 Beautiful Belle is an 8 year old female German Shepherd. Belle's senior owner became unable to care for her any longer and eventually Belle was surrendered to a vet clinic that reached out to us for help. Belle was originally very anxious by the changes in her life and that stress may have contributed to the sudden stomach bloat & torsion she suffered shortly after coming into our care. Thankfully her foster realized quickly that she was in distress and x-rays confirmed the torsion. Belle was rushed for immediate emergency surgery, it was successful and she has been recovering well in her foster home. Belle is not yet available for adoption but once fully recovered, she will make a wonderful companion & guardian for some lucky person.
