​Beautiful Cooper is an adult male German Shepherd (or Shepherd cross). We have estimated him to be approximately 5 years old and gave him a birthdate of March 21, 2020. Cooper is a very calm, gentle and accepting boy that is loving the attention he is currently receiving in his foster home.

​Cooper's story is a sad one. His owner passed away and the owner's family didn't want him. Put out to fend for himself, he was picked up by the rural animal control officer and the family refused to claim him. He was scheduled to be euthanized last Friday. Thankfully a wonderful caring person who knew Cooper's story reached out to us and we quickly moved to save this sweet boy's life. His amazing foster family picked him up and welcomed him into their home.

Poor Cooper has been suffering for quite some time with multiple issues. A cracked tooth led to a bad mouth infection. He has Heartworm Disease, Anaplasmosis, and Lyme Disease as well. The good news is that we have already started treatments and, hopefully before long, this wonderful boy will start to feel much better. This is RESCUE... giving a much-deserved second chance to a loving dog.
