Beautiful Stella is a 6 year old female German Shepherd. Stella is pregnant and, based on x-rays, she is estimated due to whelp on October 9th.

Stella came to us from a rural community. She has had multiple litters over her life and, after losing her last two litters, her family reached out to us to help her. We have no idea yet whether her pups will survive or not, but we will provide her and her unborn babies everything we can to help them all.

Stella is suffering with terrible long-term ear infections which have closed her ear canals with swollen tissue (Stenosis) and we are unable to begin treatment until after her pups are weaned. She will likely require surgery to correct the problem. In spite of everything, Stella is one of the sweetest and most gentle of dogs. Good with everyone & everything, Stella will eventually make someone a wonderful forever best friend.
