TRAINED DOGS ARE HAPPY DOGS
Dogs who possess good manners and social skills are a joy to live with. People who train their dogs develop a close bond and deep relationship with their canine friends. Training can help to prevent behaviour problems and will give owners the tools to recognize and address issues in the early stages if they are to develop, as well as the tools to teach tricks and fun behaviours at any time. Basic obedience can keep dogs safe, controlled and manageable when out in public and at home, and learning how to train a dog will be a skill set that lasts a lifetime. It’s a Win-Win for all!
Manitoba All Shepherd Rescue will offer a $50.00 rebate to those who attend and complete a training session with a dog adopted from MASR. We strongly encourage everyone to attend a basic obedience class, and the rebate will be given upon presentation of a signed certificate or written and signed notification from the trainer that the class was satisfactorily completed. |
Each potential adopter must submit an application which will help us to match your needs with any German Shepherd Dogs in our care. Any questions asked are not meant to be intrusive, but rather are to help us determine compatibility with one of our dogs, and to ensure the welfare of our rescues. All adoptions are on a two-week trial basis.
YOUR APPLICATION MUST BE FILLED OUT COMPLETELY.
IF YOU LEAVE ANY FIELDS BLANK, YOUR APPLICATION MAY NOT BE PROCESSED.
Please do not submit an application unless you are ready to adopt a dog either now or in the very near future. If you are still unsure and would like further information about our dogs or our policies, click here to send a direct email inquiry.
