When Manitoba All Shepherd Rescue was originally founded back in 2006, Barb (founder) built a strong team of volunteers to help with her mission - saving the lives of many dogs. Fast forward to the present and our volunteers are still the backbone of the rescue.

We rely on our foster families, who provide a safe and loving home for our dogs waiting to be adopted. But there are many ways someone can be involved, from helping with transporting new dogs from the airport to the vet and to the new foster, to transporting food and supplies, taking dogs to their vet appointments for fosters without transportation, all are necessary!

We also appreciate all the volunteers who come out to help at events, do home checks, bake goodies, make crafts for sales or help with different fundraisers! Others volunteer their time to help with the administration.

All share the single goal of helping MASR to help the dogs and pups that need us, and we're always in need of new volunteers to join our family.
