Our Rumor's Comedy Club night out is drawing nearer and we have only reached approximately half of our goal in ticket sales.
To our amazing supporters, alumni, fosters, volunteers: grab some friends, family, co-workers and join us for a fun-filled evening.
Reminder about our upcoming Rumor's Comedy Night fundraiser! Join us for a fun night out on Thursday, October 8th.
Tickets are only $25 and all proceeds support our ongoing rescue efforts.
Email Sara ([email protected]) or text her on Facebook messenger for tickets or purchase them (cash only please) at either of these two locations until September 30th:
Total Flooring 702 Broadway
Barks N Purrs, 925 Headmaster Row
Rumor's Comedy Club offers drinks, food (including gluten-friendly and vegetarian options), and lots of laughs.
Our comedian for this evening's entertainment is Rob Pue!
"A gregarious and dynamic comedian with a knack for telling it like it is, Rob has become one of the brightest voices to hit the Canadian comedy scene. With unmistakable charm, wit and trade-mark act-outs, Rob is a must see performance. Most recently, he appeared on the hit Amazon Series The Boys. Rob has also appeared as a regular on the MTV series Punk'd and recently had his one hour “Comedy Now” special air on the Comedy Channel. In 2013 Rob performed at all 3 Major Canadian TV Comedy Festivals - Just For Laughs Montreal, Ha! Halifax Comedy Fest and The Winnipeg Comedy Festival! Rob was one of the few selected to the prestigious Investor's Group Comedy Tour of Ontario in 2013 and slated for the Maritime and Mid-West Canada versions for 2014. Only the funniest clean comedians are chosen for these tours, so very high praise indeed! Rob is a "military brat"; he was born on a base in Halifax and moved with his military father to Edmonton. He has played various military bases throughout Canada and has been involved with several Military Comedy Benefits."
This will be a great evening out and we are hoping to see many of you there!
Come and share some laughs with us!

Dan's birthday fundraiser for
manitoba all shepherd rescue inc.
|
For my birthday this year, I'm asking for donations to Manitoba All Shepherd Rescue, Inc. I've chosen this nonprofit because their mission means a lot to me, and I hope you'll consider contributing as a way to celebrate with me. Every little bit will help me reach my goal.
RIP Zoey. We miss you so much. XOXO. Facebook pays all the processing fees for you, so 100% of your donation goes directly to the nonprofit. Click Here---> DONATE! |
Adoption day event August 28, 2021
Sending out a HUGE thank you to so many for helping make today's event a great success! Canvasback Pet Supplies for offering us a great location, Trail Dog Treats for donating some amazing dog treats, our very talented bakers who donated so many wonderful delicious items for our bake sale. All of our terrific fosters who came out with their dogs and pups to show them off, our wonderful volunteers who helped with set-up and take-down, and managed the barbecue and the baking areas. And to everyone who came out today to meet the dogs and support our efforts!
It was a great day! Thank you everyone!
