Handsome Hutch is an adult neutered male Shepherd/Mastiff cross with an estimated date of birth of July 2, 2019. Hutch is a very sweet and gentle boy, calm, very friendly and accepting of everyone. Hutch was found, presumably dumped, in a rural community with his "brother" Starsky. Animal control caught them and when their time was up, reached out to us.

Hutch requires surgery on both of his knees. Before we could consider surgery, we had to get him healthy and in good weight. He was overweight with noticable muscle atrophy in his rear end and that would not help with his healing (he's a big boy). We are happy to say that he has reached his goals and looks and feels wonderful.

If you have attended any of our events, you have probably met our big lovable goof. He absolutely loves getting attention from his fans!

Hutch won't be ready for adoption until he is fully healed from his surgeries. But we would love to get him into a foster-to-adopt situation so he can finally get started on his happy-ever-after. We have an experienced recovery home for him for a short period after each surgery, but would love for him to return to his forever home & family afterwards.
